The following video demonstrates how a Gate Access Volunteer can add or change their profile picture.




Adding or Changing Your Profile Picture


Do you want to add a profile picture to Gate Access?  Or, do you already have one and just need to update it?  We can help!


Once you're logged in to Gate Access, in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, you will see your profile picture or the default avatar outline. Click next to it and select My Profile.


On the My Profile page, you'll see two tabs: Personal and Theocratic. Click Personal and locate the Profile Photo card.

To add a new photo, begin by clicking the +Add icon in the Profile Photo section. The Add Profile Photo drawer will open and you can either drag and drop your picture or click Browse Files to select it from your computer. Remember, your photo must be in JPG or PNG format.  Once your file is selected, click Open


Next, adjust the image using the Zoom slider or Rotate icon. If you accidentally chose the wrong file, simply click Remove Photo to start again. 


If at any point you decide not to continue, click Cancel. A confirmation message will appear. Click Leave to return to the My Profile page, or Stay to continue working in the Add Profile Photo drawer.


When you're satisfied with the image, click Save.  A confirmation message will appear.  After refreshing the page, your new profile photo will now display in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.


To change an existing photo, go back to the Profile Photo card and click Edit. Select Delete Photo in the Edit Profile Photo drawer, then confirm the deletion by clicking Delete. Once the current photo is removed, you can follow the same steps as before to upload a new picture.


If you have trouble adding or changing your photo, first make sure the file is in JPG or PNG format. Remember to refresh the page for the change to take effect. If the upload fails, try reducing the file size or checking your internet connection. If the issue continues, contact your overseer or request help from Support. To do this, click the Support (?) icon next to your profile picture, then select Open Support Ticket.
