GATE ACCESS RELEASE FEATURE SUMMARY

This summary intends to provide information regarding new features available with the latest release of Gate Access.
Facility Contact Notifications
Roles Affected: Branch, Regional, Zone, and Facility
This release includes two (2) new notification types for Facility Contacts, Facility Notifications, and Volunteer Notifications.
Facility Notifications
- Facility Assigned Notifications are produced when a Branch, Regional, or Zone Contact adds a Primary Contact or an Assistant Contact to a facility.
- Facility Contact Update Notifications are produced when a Branch, Regional, or Zone Contact modifies a Primary Contact or an Assistant Contact at a facility. All other Facility Contacts attached to the facility will see the notifications excluding the person.
Volunteer Notifications
- Volunteer Added Notifications are produced when a Branch, Regional, or Zone Contact adds a new Volunteer to a facility.
- Volunteer Removed Notifications are produced when a Branch, Regional, or Zone Contact removes a Volunteer from a facility.
- All Facility Contacts attached to the facility will receive the notifications.
B. Correspondence Notifications
Roles Affected: Branch, Regional, Zone, Facility, and Volunteer
This release includes two (2) new Correspondence notification types, Resident Correspondence and Branch Correspondence.
Resident Correspondence
- Resident Correspondence Received Notifications are produced when a contact or another volunteer (excluding the volunteer receiving the notification) adds correspondence via the "Add Correspondence" drawer for a resident to whom the volunteer is assigned (in-person study volunteer OR correspondent volunteer).
- Resident Correspondence Updated Notifications are produced when a contact or another volunteer (excluding the volunteer receiving the notification) edits correspondence via the "Edit Correspondence" drawer by changing the "Digital Correspondence" field or removing and re-uploading another document for a resident to whom the volunteer is assigned (in-person study volunteer OR correspondent volunteer).
- The View Message feature will open the document correspondence on the "View Document" screen or digital correspondence on the "View Digital Correspondence" drawer.
Branch Correspondence
- Branch Correspondence Received Notifications are produced when a contact or another volunteer (excluding the volunteer receiving the notification) adds correspondence via the "Add Correspondence" drawer for a resident whom the branch has corresponded about and who is currently assigned to the receiving volunteer (in-person study volunteer OR correspondent volunteer).
- Branch Correspondence Updated Notifications are produced when a contact or another volunteer (excluding the volunteer receiving the notification) edits correspondence via the "Edit Correspondence" drawer by changing the "Digital Correspondence" field or removing and re-uploading another document for a resident whom the branch has corresponded about and who is currently assigned to the receiving volunteer (in-person study volunteer OR correspondent volunteer).
