Overview: This article is designed to provide a series of steps that should be taken by a volunteer who needs to reset their password from either within Gate Access or outside of Gate Access.
How to reset your password from outside the Gate Access Application
Step 1 At the gateaccess.org login page, click on Forgot Password.
Step 2 Enter your email address associated with your Gate Access account. You will receive an email from email@example.com that will guide you in resetting your email. Be sure to check your Junk/Spam folder.
Step 3 Within the email you received, click the Reset Password hyperlink.
Step 4 Once your new password matches in both entry boxes, you can click on Submit to finalize the change. After changing your password, you will be directed back to the login screen. Enter your username (your email address) and the new password you just created.
Step 4 After logging in you will be directed to the My Ministry landing page. Select Support from the navigation bar to help you get started.
Step 5 On this webpage you will see text articles and videos to help you get started. Please take the time to go through these resources. You can refer to them at any time by selecting Support from the navigation panel. New resources will be added periodically, so check back often.
Step 6 If you still need help after reading a knowledge article, return to the My Ministry landing page and select the icon at the bottom right of the page for online chat support available Sunday – Saturday from 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM CT.
How to reset your password from within the Gate Access Application
Step 1 Select Profile from the Navigation Panel.
Step 2 Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Password Reset button.
Step 3 Enter your new Password.
Step 4 Once your new password matches in both entry boxes, you can click on Submit to finalize the change.
Step 5 Upon submission, you will be taken to the Gate Access login page to enter with your new password. If any issues arise, please contact Support.
